Water treatment systems

Water treatment systems

For sterilization equipment, specially prepared demineralized water is used.

Water treatment for autoclaves is a system of measures taken to bring water (from a water supply system, a well, or other source) to standards for working with steam sterilizers. These procedures include mechanical, chemical and / or biological water treatment.

The pure water preparation system presented on the RENAISSANCE-MEDICAL website is designed specifically for the production of demineralized water for autoclaves.

For normal operation of the autoclave, the use of demineralized water with a conductivity of 3-15 μS / cm is recommended. If the conductivity of water is above 15 μS / cm, salt deposits will accumulate on the heating elements, which eventually leads to failure of the heating element. If the conductivity of the water is below 3 μS / cm, then water can act on the inner surfaces of the autoclave, causing damage to the water level sensors, heating elements and connections.
