Sterilization containers (trays, cassettes) are containers in which medical instruments are placed for processing in steam sterilizers and washer-disinfectors.

Melag offers an integrated system that consists of flushing cassettes and sterilization containers. Tools are placed directly in the washing cassettes, which are then cleaned and disinfected. Next, the washing cassettes are placed in the appropriate sterilization containers, and the packaging process of the instrument is completed. Such a system saves up to 30 minutes on each cycle of tool processing compared to individual packaging of a sterilization instrument followed by packaging of a sterile instrument.

MELAG sterilization containers comply with European standards and offer pollution-resistant storage of surgical kits. After successful sterilization and drying, the packaged instrument can be stored for up to 6 months, provided that it is stored in a place protected from dust (for example, in a cabinet or in a drawer).

Sterilization containers have a hole in the bottom and lid, and are equipped with disposable paper filters to protect against contamination, replaced after each sterilization.
